About Me

Writing was never something I envisioned doing. I have always been eager to devour books and gain knowledge in an infinite sort of way. But I never wrote. Never thought of it as a path until it presented itself to me -- and I liked it. I went on a soul search, taking personality quizzes and going through long processes to determine what I was apt to do, what my passion might be, unbeknownst to me. There it was at the bottom of every avenue of discovery -- words, creativity, story, narrative, sharing.

I ran away from the real world once, to a small town nestled in the mountains of south central Idaho. Time has slipped away from me since, feeling at ease in the kind of town where you know the name of the boy who bags your groceries, where strangers smile as you pass them on snowy streets. The type of world that offers cultural splashes of great local theater and performances matched with outdoor recreation and serenity.

With peace around me I still crave adventure -- crave to see the whole world, taste everything, tell the stories of people I meet along the way. That's where writing makes sense. It can be my ticket to places I have always dreamed of and my ticket back home to the quiet mountains, to people hidden deep in its caverns I have yet to discover. This is my journey. And who knows what ideas and artistic forms this story will bring forth.
